Resident Leadership Academies (RLAs) are multi-session long training programs for north Orange County residents who are interested in learning how to improve their communities.
The training sessions empower residents by focusing on many aspects of public health. Residents learn best practices to address issues that most impact their communities.
Residents develop projects that lead to improved quality of life in neighborhoods; with changes promoting physical activity and healthy food choices.
The Community Health Improvement Partners' (CHIP) Resident Leadership Academy adopted by the Move More, Eat Healthy Campaign is a 10 classes long series of training that empowers residents with the knowledge, tools, strategies and commitment to make healthy changes at the community level.
